New ICANN policies require that, when registering new domain names and continuing registrations, the owner's email address must be verified, unless previously confirmed.
A confirmation email will be sent to the subscriber's email address upon registration and must be approved within 14 days by following the link there. If the verification is not completed within the time limit, the domain name will be suspended until the verification is complete. Verification is performed only once for each email address.
You will recognize the confirmation message in the "IMMEDIATE VERIFICATION required for xxxxx.xx"
