Recommended email settings

The easiest way to find the right email settings is to log in to Webmail.

In Webmail, click on your email address in the blue bar at the top.

In the drop-down menu, select the Configure Email Client Program link.

Set up your email client

On the page that opens, you will find the preset settings for different programs (Windows Live Mail®, Microsoft Outlook 2000®, Microsoft Outlook Express®, and MacOS® Mail.app®).

Here are general instructions on the different setting options:

In unprotected mode, email settings are as follows:

Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.xx

Incoming server port: IMAP: 143 or POP3: 110

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.xx

Outgoing server port: 587

Username: Your email address

Password: Your email password

The outgoing mail server requires authentication. Use the same settings as the incoming mail server

If you have your own SSL certificate, the recommended email settings are:

Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.xx

Incoming server port: IMAP: 993 or POP3: 995

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.xx

Outgoing mail server port: 465

Username: Your email address

Password: Your email password

Outgoing and incoming mail server requires encrypted connection (SSL)

The outgoing mail server requires authentication. Use the same settings as the incoming mail server

We recommend using your own SSL certificate for secure email. All of our web hotels include a free Let's Encrypt certificate which you can activate through your own cPanel control panel.
